Keynote Address

Mike Michalowicz

Monday, Oct. 8 | 2:30pm to 4:00pm

Author and entrepreneur Mike Michalowicz knows a thing or two about success—and finding success after failure, too. At 24, he was named the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Young Entrepreneur of the Year. By his 35th birthday, he had founded and sold both Olmec Systems and PG Lewis & Associates, two multi-million-dollar companies. Then he became an angel investor. Then he lost his entire fortune.

But Michalowicz forged ahead and is now running his third multi-million-dollar business, Provendus Group, a growth accelerator that helps early-stage companies find rapid, sustainable growth. He’s also a former Wall Street Journal columnist and MSNBC businesses-makeover expert, current contributor to Entrepreneur Magazine, and the author of three books; BusinessWeek heralded his first, The Pumpkin Plan, as “the entrepreneur’s cult classic.”

These days, the in-demand public speaker is an entrepreneurial advocate who presents his philosophies and insights to professional groups all over the world. He has gained global recognition as someone who challenges outdated business beliefs, and is an active partner working with a truly diversified gamut of companies. Michalowicz’s experiences and wide field of vision will be sure to provide you with the tools and perspective you and your company need to succeed in an ever-changing landscape.
